# We're Spotflow

We are a team of engineers, builders, and system thinkers with more than a decade of experience navigating IoT complexity, from embedded firmware to distributed cloud systems.

United by a passion for scalable and resilient technology, we bring a holistic understanding of how real-world devices behave and what it takes to keep them operating reliably.

To create a world where every embedded device is self-monitoring, self-diagnosing, and self-healing, delivering unprecedented reliability at global scale.

## Mission

We empower organizations to run massive fleets of embedded devices with near-zero downtime. By unifying observability, AI-driven diagnostics, and automated remediation into a closed-loop system, we aim to transform how embedded devices are monitored, maintained, and continuously improved.

## Our Story

Our journey began in 2019, when we started building an industrial IoT platform at Datamole. That platform has since scaled to more than 100,000 connected devices and powers large-scale solutions for global brands including Lely and Agrifac.

Operating at this scale gave us firsthand experience with constrained devices in unpredictable environments around the world. It also immersed us in the embedded community as we integrated diverse sensors, protocols, and device types into one ecosystem.

Across many IoT projects, embedded engineers repeatedly described field-device troubleshooting as too complex, time-consuming, and manual. In 2024, we began validating the problem and exploring how to improve the situation for teams operating large device fleets.

In early 2025, we released the first self-service version of Spotflow with native log and core dump collection for Zephyr-based devices.

Today, we are evolving Spotflow into a fully AI-assisted embedded observability platform for automated monitoring, diagnostics, troubleshooting, and firmware release management across bare-metal devices and modern embedded operating systems.
